Most conference booths are staffed by sales teams. This one is different.
At ASCRS 2026, you will have the opportunity to speak directly with Dr Essam Ghareeb — the Consultant General Surgeon who founded Haemoband Surgical and developed Haemoband-PLUS from clinical need. Dr Ghareeb uses the device in his own practice, knows the evidence inside out, and can speak to the clinical questions that matter to you — without a sales layer in between.
If you are a colorectal surgeon or gastroenterologist evaluating your outpatient banding setup, that kind of conversation is worth making time for.
We are at Booth 817, Tampa, Florida, 9–12 May 2026.

Who You Will Meet at Booth 817
Dr Essam Ghareeb — Founder, Clinical Director and General Surgeon. Dr Ghareeb developed Haemoband-PLUS based on his direct clinical experience with haemorrhoid banding. At ASCRS, he will be available for peer-level clinical discussions: the evidence, the technique, patient selection, and how the device compares to other approaches in practice.
Michael McMullan — Managing Director, available to discuss commercial, procurement, and distribution.
Cathal Donnelly — Operations and Regulatory Executive, available for regulatory and compliance queries.
The Clinical Evidence Behind Haemoband-PLUS
Haemoband-PLUS is a suction-assisted, multi-band ligator with four pre-loaded bands. It treats symptomatic first, second, and third degree haemorrhoids in an outpatient setting — no anaesthetic required, procedure typically completed in under five minutes, with patients typically back to normal activity within one day.
It has now been evaluated in over 3,000 patients across four published studies, including a consecutive series of 2,635 patients by Komporozos et al. (2021). The complete Clinical Evidence Report is available on our website.
